Weight cutting proper way for wrestling?

I'm a senior this upcoming year in wrestling and I walk around at 123 and I there are 2 openings at 113 and 106 since they changed the weight classes this year. I was thinking about trying the Dolce Diet which is what MMA fighters use to cut their weight. I was wondering what could I use to get down in my weight? Any help would be appreciated.

Tips for person wanting to be a comic book artist?

I actually asked the same thing not too long ago. I've been coming (or at least trying) up with a series since I was 12, I'm 21 now. I've had at least 2-3 really good/creative ones, but died out over time when I had to focus on work/school, so now i'm trying to get back into it. The best advice I could give you from my experience, BE ORIGINAL, yet good. The one thing I hate is people just do the same BS over n over. Don't get me wrong, it's ok to have strong influences from certain stories, but try to make it something uniquely yours. If you're dead serious about getting the right art supplies, there are professional kits ranging in prices, it depends, look it up. They usually have everything from pen, basic drawing pencils, shading pencils...ect. I think the trickiest part is getting decent colors. As for publishing I'm not sure. I heard Akira Toriyama (creator of dragonball (z)) got big/noticed after winning a contest when he submitted his comics/drawing he made as a hobby and from there started getting his stuff published from there. I'm not too professional myself, so this is all I can tell ya, hope I helped

He began drawing and by 1959 had published Fritz the Cat. I was wondering how he went about a step by step process (not to to in depth) but a general way of how he drew and published his artwork. How come so many people think Hispanics are poor, low-class, and uneducated?

I am so sick of that stereotype! Words cannot even beigin to fathom my empathy for it!!! I am a Hispanic male, 14. We've been living in the U.S. For 7 years now. My father is an orthodontist, he makes $365,000 a year. My mother is a homemaker. Currently, I am enrolled in a private school, I am in all AP classes with a 4.0 GPA. I'm not too big on sports, but that might change since I want something to look good on a college application (I am in tons of clubs, though). Even though I have lived here a short 7 years, I would consider myself almost a master of the English Language. I have been riveted by all that it has to offer and how the eloquence of one's words can clearly place their education and social position. I spend my free time immersing myself in literature. I can speak fluent English, French, and Spanish and am learning Latin. I love the works of authors like Shakespeare (he is my idol) and love to play chess, read, write, paint, and play the violin. i have been writing novels since I was 6 (the early ones were obviously in Spanish, I learned to write fairly good English after living here for a year) and am working on getting one published. To me, this seems proof enough that Hispanics can be smart and successful. My paternal grandfather is a CEO, making over 3 million a year. My maternal grandfather is a wealthy dentist in Colombia. My mother, while unemployed to care of the home, is certified to be a dentist and has her degree. I don't understand why so many people continue to think of us as wild, rocous people who are uncivilized brutes, because we are not. The city in Colombia that I come from has a district similar to the Upper east side in New York; South America isn't a jungle, it's full of vibrant cities. I don't understand why people tend to have such negative views of Hispanics.

I think I know the book that you are wondering about because I just bought a hard covered copy of it at a thrift store for $4.00. I too remember the book from years ago. It was read to me as a small child during the early 1960s. The title is "Hazel Squirrel" from a series by Whitman called Famous Animal Stories. Famous refers to the writer's name - Howard B. Famous. The copy I have is in lovely shape and was printed in 1917. It has great illustrations - hand drawn of course, and in black and white. It was given to someone named Ronnie by his dad for Christmas in 1917. I just bought about a week ago and have not read it yet. I've been researching how to get books published for a little bit. I've learned a lot and I've heard a lot of people suggesting getting an agent to help you with contacting publishers. I've also heard that publishing shouldn't cost you anything. But does that mean just the publishing process or does that include everything you might do during the process? I have a FULL head of wavy hair and the length usually is around an inch to an inch and a half...is there some sort of brush that will comb and control my hair in the style that i brush it? A gifted writer doesn't *need* formal education, but it sure doesn't hurt. It expands your universe and improves your writing ability. Realistically though, probably less than 1% of writers can survive from their writing. You need a backup plan. Getting a college degree or learning a skilled trade will provide you the means to support yourself if writing doesn't pan out (or at least will keep you alive til your writing takes off). I came out of school and there was a big fight. One of my friends recorded the fight so while me and a bunch of my friends were walking home we stop to see the fight in a group. I know you have to come out of your pocket some to do it but I don't see a problem with that plus i've read some pretty good books that were self-published. But some people act like it's not a good way to go. Though age should not matter, many agents will reject your work if they find out you are under 18 because of legal responsibilities, as I understand. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't send your stuff in though. Some publishers, if they are willing enough, can come up with a special contract that you and your parents sign together...at least, that's how it worked with me, because I was a minor at the time when I signed my contract, even though by the time I finish the book, I won't be. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how to approach an agent about age. I never sent my things to an agent. Someone found my stuff online and contacted me about it. They asked if I would be interested in having my work published through their company, and when I replied, I said that I was, mentioned that I was only 17 or 16 and asked if that would be a problem for them. I have not heard of publishers taking advantage of younger authors, but I doubt they would because of the trouble it could bring. And no, having it on a website does not make it untouchable. That's how my work got noticed. You do, however, want to be cautious just where online you put your work. www.worthyofpublishing.com is where I had my stuff, and in my opinion, they seem to have good copyright policies. As far as length goes, I don't think there is a specific one you should limit yourself to. Think about the different books you've seen. Some crime novels are about 200 pages, while harry potter books may be about 400. I wouldn't worry too much about that, really. I don't know about writing a query. I never dreamed of sending my book to a publisher because I'm a perfectionist and never thought it would be good enough. And yes, if two publishers accept, it is up to you to choose which you want or which offer is better etc. I'm not quite sure I follow you on the "author purpose" thing. I have many goals as a writer, and many more with individual stories that i feel are my "purpose". Anyhow, if you need a fresh pair of eyes and you're worried about the whole internet thing, feel free to shoot me an e-mail of whatever excerpt you have that you feel is in need. I'm a little tied up right now with finishing my own novel, but I'd be glad to set it aside for a little bit if a fellow writer is in need. Good writing, bad grammar. Ignoring the grammar issues, it's a pretty good piece of writing. Gets the emotions across well, good description. Excellent for a 15 year old! But you really, really need to work on the grammar. If people have a hard time reading it because of that, they won't give it a chance long enough to see that it's actually pretty good. Don't give up, keep writing. :)

LGBT :Publishing Book Trouble?

I am trying to get a book published that would mostly fit and appeal to the LGBT community, but two agents rejected me already. It just hurts to think people may not like my book and it has me questioning myself as a writer because I think it is a good book especially since most of it is real. I dont know if it was rejected because it was gay and the agents didnt want that or because it was my writing. I get the same comment in each rejection letter "We feel your book isnt a right fit" idk what to take of that and no other feedack is given...so what do i do are there any LGBT agents or publshers who can tell me what they think or atleast give decent feedback , because family and friends give skewed opinions.

How to deal with a co-worker trying to get me introuble in possibly fired?

There is a long story behind this so i will try to keep it short. I work in a law firm and I was asked to back up a department for two months while her supervisor was out on sick leave. I was unfamiliar with the department so I needed to ask a lot of questions. This girl was on personal phone calls all the time and making me do most of the work and when I asked a question more than once she would get angry and tell me I was taking up her time and she couldnt get her work done. I tried to be as polite as i could and didnt want to go to my boss about her personal phone calls because i had to continue working with her and didnt want to cause more friction. The girl who was on sick leave is known to be just as imcompotent as a worker and as well as the girl I was working with and I think they thought I was going to permenantly replace one of them, meaning one of them would get fired. Every little mistake I made she went back and told my boss. The department was in the calendar department, which there is a lot of information to be retained and a lot of info to remember so god forbid if I should ask a question more than once. I had enough so I went to my boss, told him about her personal phone calls and about her not being willing to answer my questions. I was working my you know what off and just kept getting hell from her. I am now out of that department and back into my regular spot. She found a miskake I made months ago, brought it to my boss' attention rather t han just coming to me and either asking me nicely to fix it or just ignoring it. Over the past few months I found plenty of mistakes she made and I just corrected it myself and moved on rather than wasting company time by being a snitch and telling my boss or bringing to to her attention. Since she wants to play tit for tat, should I tell my boss every mistake she makes. Also, should I report her to the Human Resources department. Adobe after effects no volume after save?

I make movies with high effects. I make them with adobe after effects. The problem is that when im making the movie i can hear the sound with the RAM preview but after i publish it to an AVI or other video file it has no sound. CCTV "Prime" lens on a point and shoot digital?

Fascinating project. Couldn't find a manual on your camera so I don't know that it is a fixed aperture. Every digital camera that I know of has a variable aperture, but you seem to be saying that yours is fixed at some very small opening. Do the CCTV lenses have variable apertures? I would think so. Most CCTV cameras are set up to be run remotely, so the lens is electrically controlled for focusing and probably aperture. The chances that your camera is electrically compatible are slim, but maybe you can overcome that. If others are using the lens as a prime, they must be able to adjust it mechanically, or do they? You should find out. Zoom happens either optically or digitally. Optical zoom is a matter of mechanically moving one lens in relation to a second lens. If you remove the lens assembly you will lose that ability, but that is what to expect of a prime lens. The 12MP sensor should give you all the resolution you could possible need. If the CCTV lens can be controlled manually, I would think that this is a worthwhile project.

i need help. about 2 weeks ago i lost 50 dallors. i was sad. then i told me cousin (M) about it. then at school i knew this kid that smokes cigarettes so we went and bought a pack from him.my cousin (M) and i smoked one cigarette to try it out nd promised each other that we will never do it again. my cousin (M) nd i , we sell 2 cigarettes for 5 dallors to make some pocket money and we spend it on lunch. on friday i gave (M) 2 cigarettes to hold for me nd return it on monday for me so we can sell it. now (M's) mom has alot of contact from the school nd she found out. (M) told his mother the same extact thing im typin right now and we are in deep shyt. now (M's) mom didnt talk to me yet but when she does, i want (M) nd i to get out of this problem. now i need ur help to give me some ideas or some slick ways to talk to her to get away with it . plz help us . thanks

Should I get a mac mini or an iPad 2?

Basically, I am a gadget wh0re. I am addicted to buying latest gadgets. I also like Apple because they have the slickest looking products. I am only a teenager and I have to opt for only a summer job because of the businesses around here. the mac mini has power and it is a full desktop. I use my mac every day and I think it is time for an upgrade(Currently owning a much outdated emac). However, it is not as good as the Ipad because I have to buy lots of accessories, and it is more expensive in the first place. It also is not as much of a gaming machine for small games like the ipad. But, it provides a full mac experience. The ipad 2 wins in some ways, such as the portability factor, (which can be good for school) and the ability to play games, etc. However, it is very locked down by apple, and it doesnt provide a full desktop experience. Which device do you think I should buy first?( I will probably buy the other one next year, lol) please try to provide some compelling reasons

Should I save up for an ESP Edwards Alexi Scythe or a Jackson RR24 Rhoads?

Experienced guitarists help me out here. Basically, both guitars were played by my favorite guitarist ever, Alexi Laiho, and I really want to get one of them. I just want to know which one is going to be better for me. Both are around the same price, both neck-thru, 24 frets, original floyd rose. Different pickups but that's not the main issue I care about here. What I want to know is playability. Both of these guitars are basically the penultimate top of the line for their respective brands, and I want to know which brand you guys think is going to have a better craftsmanship with the fret leveling. Which one is going to give me the smoothest playing - slick neck, minnimum action with virtually zero buzz?

Is she cheating or am I paranoid?

ok. Ive been dating this girl for about 6 months and things were really good. Long story short, early in the relationship she went thru my cell phone and busted me sexting. I promised I would stop and did. I deleted the females contact info from my phone and havnt tried to reconnect. Days later I went thru her email and found she had a life she had been hiding from me. I know things she has done and although she knows I went thru her email I would not tell her the things I know because it would hurt her. Its fair to say I have trust issues now. She will leave work at say 3pm and by 6 pm I havnt heard from her. I send a text and she gets pissed off telling me she has been at the store. For 3 hours? really? I know there is a ex BF she is texting. She doesnt know I know but the day afetr the texts, she is gone for hours and hours. She comes home, says she has to pee and is in the bathroom for 10 15 minutes. She comes out and I have a feeling. I go into the bathroom and sure enough, there are her panties she wore haning in the shower all wet from being rinsed. My Wife is Leroy's niece (MOH) Wikipedia was publishing the false information that Leroy was Filipino. US Army and Congress had Wikipedia corect the infromation. It is now correct that Leroy was 100% Portuguese. Absoluteastronomy.com continues to print the false information about Leroy. I have tried to contract them with no luck. So I am asking you to remove their article from your web site. They use Wikipedia as a reference and wikipedia has corrected the false information.

How to put a co-worker in their place that is trying to get me in trouble...please help!?

There is a long story behind this so i will try to keep it short. I work in a law firm and I was asked to back up a department for two months while her supervisor was out on sick leave. I was unfamiliar with the department so I needed to ask a lot of questions. This girl was on personal phone calls all the time and making me do most of the work and when I asked a question more than once she would get angry and tell me I was taking up her time and she couldnt get her work done. I tried to be as polite as i could and didnt want to go to my boss about her personal phone calls because i had to continue working with her and didnt want to cause more friction. The girl who was on sick leave is known to be just as imcompotent as a worker and as well as the girl I was working with and I think they thought I was going to permenantly replace one of them, meaning one of them would get fired. Every little mistake I made she went back and told my boss. The department was in the calendar department, which there is a lot of information to be retained and a lot of info to remember so god forbid if I should ask a question more than once. I had enough so I went to my boss, told him about her personal phone calls and about her not being willing to answer my questions. I was working my you know what off and just kept getting hell from her. I am now out of that department and back into my regular spot. She found a miskake I made months ago, brought it to my boss' attention rather t han just coming to me and either asking me nicely to fix it or just ignoring it. Over the past few months I found plenty of mistakes she made and I just corrected it myself and moved on rather than wasting company time by being a snitch and telling my boss or bringing to to her attention. Since she wants to play tit for tat, should I tell my boss every mistake she makes. Also, should I report her to the Human Resources department. I am a working mother and I support my husband who is laid off and my 8 month old son. My natural instict is to give her a wack...lol! I need to keep my cool and deal with her in a professional way and I want to get her in trouble in a slick way. Any tips? How do you groom a shaved poodle?

It sounds like the cut she has is a basic puppy cut which is probably the most common cut in just pet poodle. Mine have alway had that cut more practicely that the fancy show cuts. Poodles need a trim about every 6 weeks but you should brush daily especailly the ears if the fur is left long. A slicker brush is great for them but you need to be gentle and older poodles the coat does tend to get thinner so a bristle brush is good for the main body if keep short. Poodle ear also need regular plucking as they have hair in them you can ask you groomer to do that. They are prone to ear problems so you need to keep an eye on there ears that they are clean and don't smell .Poodles are great dogs who love to love and be loved they love to please there own. In the winter they do feel the cold so need a nice warm coat. It is great your gran has adopted this little dog and give it a second chance of love she won't regret it. They are super dogs.

Recently a friend of mine started going out with a guy much older than her (she's 21 and he's 46). She's really pretty and to put it plainly he's really rich with no personality. Half chap help.. My chaps are slippery as ice!?

This is going to sound crazy, but if they are not an expensive pair, and they are mostly suede leather then you can put them in the washing machine... After a couple of months of wear my cheap half chaps go from suede to smooth because the horse sweat and dander just gets into them. Put them in an old pillow case to protect the washing machine from buckles or clips and then just put the washing machine on normal cycle. If you have leather detergent it helps but it's not essential. I've been doing that to my $30 chaps every 3 or 4 months for the last 2 years and they've lasted great, they look almost new when they come out of the machine.

Help Publishing on Windows Movie Maker?

Ive made three videos on WMM and each 1 will save correctly, but wen i try 2 publish it it wont do it properly. Ive noticed that during certain parts of each vid, it would freeze. ive checked this on several websites that said 2 change either the music or video files that would freeze and that would work. however, changing both did little help, and i noticed that the same video would work on other amvs and no matter wat i changed, the vid wil freeze in the same spot. any suggestions?

In my experience, if you dont mind reinstalling, just do it. Those errors sound nasty and if safe mode is buggy, then its just easier. Viruses happen and sometimes reinstalling is the only way to show them who is boss. Good luck!
